Goodbye Chloe!
Today we had to put our cat, Chloe, down. We don't know exactly what was wrong with her -- it may have been cancer, heart failure, or liver disease. Since she stopped eating a week ago and had dropped down to 3 lbs, 12 oz, she was too weak to go through lengthy diagnostic tests. We weren't sure of her age, either, since we had adopted her from a shelter. We've had her for about 4 years, so we'll miss her.

I forgot to add that since we found out Ronnie is allergic to cats and dogs, especially cats, Chloe will probably be our last cat.
Cyndy,
I'm sorry I'm so late posting this, but I offer my deepest sympathies. I know this was a difficult decision and time for you, but I'm sure you did the right thing. It's always hard making a choice like this, but no matter the personal loss, you had to do what was best for her. My vet wrote me a letter and sent me a couple of poems when I put Jo-Jo down in August. I will try to find them and send a copy to you. They made me cry but I felt better reading them.
Take care, Sweetie!
