Pittsburgh

We are planning on being there at least 7/1 - 7/5, or maybe longer depending on what's happening.

Where is everyone staying (I think Cyndy told me, but I forget)?

When are we getting together and where?

Has anyone told Carol?

ACS Bike-A-Thon (In case you missed the email!)

On July 9, I will be cycling in the 34th Annual American Cancer Society Bike-a-thon and I need your help. I have signed up to ride the entire 57.8 miles, so please make my efforts worthwhile! :) I will be riding in memory of Mom. I think the ACS is a wonderful cause, so please consider donating.

You can click on the link below to get to my donation page (so I get the credit!) but if you would rather send the money directly to me or the ACS, let me know and I will get you information. I don't know what else to add, but please contact me if you have any questions. and ..... Thank you for your support!

FollowThis Link to visit my personal web page and help me in my efforts to support American Cancer Society Bike A Thon (http://www.acsevents.org/faf/r.asp?t=4&i=156300&u=156300-132308968&e=627372310 )

For those who keep track of such things, donations to the American Cancer Society are tax-deductible! For state fundraising notices and the American Cancer Society's Privacy Policy, go to http://www.cancer.org/docroot/SU/su_0.asp

Hi y'all (even all y'all)

What's in Pittsburgh July 1-5? Are we invited?

I'm having fun in choir. Our choir was invited to join with others for a consecration ceremony for new deacons at the cathedral in Nashville. I went to practice there Wed. night. It was a thrill singing with a group of 50 in a real choir loft.

I've started taking glider lessons. I flew them when I was working in England, but need to get licensed here.

Blog Update

Sorry for all the changes folks. I found moving the blog to my original user name easier for maintenance purposes. If you need/want to be added back as a contributor, post a comment and/or send me an email.

Hi everyone

Hi everyone! We went to a Bruce Springstein concert last night. It was real nice -- he played old folk songs like "Erie Canal" and had a big backup band with a banjo, keyboards, violins, trumpet, trombone and tuba, and drums, and a couple of vocalists. It was out doors too, and the weather was great. Actually, it's nice to be out doors since we've had so much rain up here. We didn't have any flooding though.
Meg -- when do you head back to Germany? Do you have an address/phone# there yet? Looks like we'll be able to go to Pittsburgh July 1st - 5th. Has anyone booked any hotels yet?

Welcome Everyone!

Hi guys!
I wanted to be the first to post on here since Meg went through the trouble of setting this up! I'll try to post some photos from this weekend when I get a chance. (Deb and her family are coming out, and Meg is visiting too!)
Chat with you later!
